Grief can feel incredibly isolating, especially after the death of a child, grandchild, or sibling. It can be difficult to find others who truly understand the lifelong impact of such a profound loss. At The Compassionate Friends of Eastern Arkansas, we believe no family should have to walk that road alone.
Our chapter is part of The Compassionate Friends, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to providing friendship, understanding, hope, and healing to bereaved families. For more than 50 years, The Compassionate Friends has helped millions of parents, grandparents, siblings, and families find comfort through compassionate peer support.
We welcome families from throughout Eastern Arkansas, regardless of where they are on their grief journey. Whether your loved one died recently or many years ago, whether your loss was expected or sudden, and regardless of the cause, you will find a caring community ready to support you.
Our support meetings are:
Always free to attend
Open to bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings
Confidential and welcoming
Led by compassionate volunteers who have experienced child loss themselves
No registration or membership required
Come when you're ready. Share if you wish—or simply listen. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there is no expectation placed on anyone who attends.
No one should have to grieve alone.
